Meeting Report for Wednesday 13th February, 2019

After Ken had performed the Meet and Greet role and Anke called us to order, club president Monika took to the stage to open a packed meeting with a moving and thought-provoking introduction. She handed over to our Toastmaster for the evening, Robin.
Ken then introduced our eight guests.

Timekeeper Lukasz explained his role before Simon introduced Table Topics, inviting guests and members on stage for the impromptu part of the evening.
Lynne then delivered our first speech of the evening. "Say Anything" - Strategic Relationships - 3 - Evaluation and Feedback - 2, which was a clever play on the concept of the word anything. 
Sonia then entertained us with "Prince Charming" - Storytelling - 3 - The Moral of the Story, in which she expertly examined various theories about the identity and nature of the eponymous fictional character.
Our President, Monika then described her very unfortunate experiences when flying, in a speech titled "The Expert Flyer" - Humorously Speaking - 5 - The Humorous Speech. 

The speeches were then evaluated by David, Ian and Chinkata.

The Open Feedback session - in which members are invited to add insights to the speeches - was run by Ian.
Our guest GE was David, who then took to the stage to share commendations and recommendations about our advanced club.
Prizewinners for the meeting were David (best Table Topic), Chinkata (best speech evaluation) and Sonia (best speaker).

Our next meeting is at 19:00 on 27th February, at The Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street, W1W 6DN. Guests are very welcome!
